Bambu Lab X 1 Carbon 3D castle time lapse
Just a quick video of my recently purchased Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 3D printer printing a beautiful castle with rainbow colored PLA filament. These printers are so nice. This print took roughly 25 hours to print. The results are excellent.

Wonder of the Seas Port Canaveral FL

I’ve always been fascinated by cruise ships. Their sheer size is something that has always amazed me. One of my things on my “to do” list was to see the world’s largest cruise ship up close, with my own two eyes. Today was that day. I was finally able to see Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas which currently holds the record for the largest cruise ship in the world. What an amazing piece of m...

This is a quick 2 year follow up video review of my Rheem Hybrid water heater. I purchased this unit from Home Depot two years ago. Me and my wife installed the unit which was pretty easy for the most part. I built a custom water condensation water trap system to prevent from having any negative air flow problems with my HVAC system's air handler. This water heater has been absolutely flawless!

This is a short video of how I exercise my Champion generator model # 100110 that's been converted to run on gasoline, LP or natural gas. These generators can consume gasoline rather quickly so I didn't want to worry about refueling the gas tank every four or five hours in the event of a power outage. Or even worse, having to worry about storing a bunch of gasoline safely in my garage or shed. ...

      A hose clamp wasn't needed because the barbs on the brass fitting were very tight. The hose wasn't coming off without some serious pulling.

    I did a test run on my Champion Power Equipment 100520 8750-Watt DH Series Open Frame Inverter today. Number 1 problem is RFI. If you have AM Radios, then forget this generator. The RFI is no where near as low as my 1990 Honda EX4500 which does not interfere with my AM radios. This Champion 100520 will not be replacing my EX4500. It will remain a good higher wattage back up.

      No, I'm not. I'm keeping all three chairs. I mainly just use the TiLite ZR chair and the other two are spares. I bought all three chairs when I was employed with very good health insurance. I have since then retired and I only have Medicare which is almost useless for durable medical equipment coverage. This means my three lightweight wheelchairs have to last me for the rest of my life because there's no way I could afford to spend $5,000 to buy another lightweight wheelchair down the road.

    You don't have to run a generator 24/7. You don't have to watch tv and use a home theater during a power outage. All you really need is heat or cooling, water if you have a well, refrigerator/freezer and cooking. You don't have to run those all at the same time either. That's why you don't need a larger generator. If it's winter you heat the house to 75 degrees and let it cool off to 55 degrees, then start the generator. Reverse applies to cooling, although that would be less comfortable, at least for me. You probably don't need to run a generator more than 3-5 hours a day. A tank of gas would probably last 3 days on that schedule. Biggest drawback to gasoline is the ethanol issue and it going stale.

    • @duskyman1
      @duskyman1 Рік тому

      I run mine 24/7 when powers out. House gets hot fast if ac's dont run at night in hot weather. If you buy a premium 92 non ethanol gas and put stabilizer in it it's good for about 18 mo.without issues. Then once-a-year you just put that gas in your vehicles and buy new gas and it's always ready. My 3500 will run on about 9 gal every 24 hrs. With 2 small window acs. It's not an inverter but I've never had any issues with TV computer etc. However there is one annoying issue with it now..... And that is that new LED light bulbs flicker with the non inverter generator. And that is annoying as crap. They save a tremendous amount of energy..... Especially running a generator. But the flicker is a showstopper So I have 8500/7000 watt inverter generator there's no light flicker but it uses 50% more gas than the little one for the same job.😮. But I also don't have to turn the AC is off to use the microwave. And it will run my clothes dryer too. Or my wife can use a blow-dryer.

    Judging by the looks of the meter box you built......the meters look familiar, and I think you misspoke....they can read Voltage, Amps and Frequency......not Voltage / Amps / Watts......right? The Amazon link you show doesn't match what you bought, too. Otherwise, fine review and NICE job on the box.

  • @jpe1
    @jpe1 Рік тому

    You said your wife’s hair dryer is 2500W‽ That implies either a 20amp outlet, or a 240v circuit. (Watts = amps * volts so 2500w/120v=20.8amps) More likely the hair dryer is 1800w (15amp*120v)

The generator still runs great with gasoline, but I can't get it to start with natural gas. I am tapped directly to the gas meter low pressure side with 3/4" 25ft line straight to the generator.
